M. Sc. Franziska Wahl
has a background in lightweight structures' design and computational mechanics. Currently, she is a doctoral researcher at the Institute of Structural Analysis at TU Braunschweig with a focus on embedded finite element techniques and applications in multi-physics simulations and structural optimization. Within project C02, Franziska mainly contributes to the high-fidelity optimization approach.
Dr.-Ing. Suneth Warnakulasuriya
He is a Senior Scientist and Head of the Computational Simulation Lab at the Chair of Structural Analysis, Technical University of Munich. With a robust background in computational mechanics, structural mechanics, optimization, and fluid dynamics, his research centers on advancing and implementing cutting-edge continuous optimization techniques within the framework of the C02 project. In addition to his academic leadership, he serves as a technical committee member of the open-source KRATOS Multiphysics finite element framework, which plays a pivotal role in the development efforts of the C02 project.
M. Sc. Daniel Weger
Former researcher in the Focus Area A of the projects A 02 and A03.
M. Sc. Hendrik Weigel
is a research associate at iBMB, Division of Concrete Construction of TU Braunschweig. He is responsible for experimental, theoretical and numerical research work.
M. Sc. David L. Wenzler
Doctoral researcher: for the duration of the research project carrying out the scientific studies. He will execute the LPBF experiments, the thermographic imaging of the LPBF process, data analysis, methods for correlations and listing of guidelines for AM elements.
M. Sc. Andreas Wimmer
was head of the department additive manufacturing at the iwb and assists Prof. Zaeh in leading project A02 and A06. He was instructing and supporting the academic staff regarding LPBF and WAAM.
Prof. Dr.-Ing. Stefan Winter
acts as supervisor for the research fellows and gives special input to the WPs related to Technical Regulations. He is responsible for the above allocated WPs and together with PL Pittich for cooperation with allocated projects of TRR 277 and the management of project C07.
Dr. rer. nat. Christine Wolter
is head of the Department of Research Data Services at the University Library of the Technical University of Munich. In the TRR, she guides the staff of the I – Information Infrastructure Project. She is responsible for developing and continuing the data strategy in close cooperation with the Board. The strategy focuses on communicating and collaborating with all sub-projects, finding FAIR solutions that support the TRR researchers and their data, and publishing data along with the research articles.
