M. Sc. Julian Tesche

is a doctoral researcher at the Institute of Structural Design (ITE) at TU Braunschweig. In project C06, he is working closely with the Digital Construction Site to develop integrated computational design and fabrication strategies for Additive Manufacturing in cyber-physical systems. Furthermore, he will apply these strategies in a multi-member workflow and realize them on a 1:1 scale in collaboration with other subprojects.

M. Sc. Philip Thiele

investigates the usability and properties of prefabricated fiber reinforcements, which are produced in a robotic winding process, for various AM processes. This includes the further development and sensing of an automated production process of fiber reinforcement for the requirements of the project. In addition, his work ranges from the integration of it into a self-controlling robotic winding process to the verification of the functionality of fiber reinforcement production with different materials and the analysis of the requirements for on-site robotic fabrication.

M. Sc. Jan Thormählen

Jan Thormählen is a doctoral researcher at the Institute for Construction Engineering and Management. In project C06, he is collaborating with the Digital Construction Site (DCS) to develop fabrication strategies and streamlined production processes for additive manufacturing. This involves a comparative analysis with conventional construction processes and working strategies to enhance productivity. Consequently, the implementation of additive manufacturing in construction will be facilitated by enhancing the integration of digital processes.

M. Sc. Sofia Tsiotou

is a doctoral researcher at the TUM Professorship of Mineral Construction Materials with a focus on clays and clay minerals for the purposes of the A10 project.

Dr.-Ing. Julian Unglaub

is head of division Material behavior at IS and takes responsibility for management of this project in terms of content and organization. He supervises the research assistants of WG Thiele for novel material and component testing methods based on MultiCam Digital Image Correlation (DIC) and the development of complex material models to describe WAAM-component behavior.

M. Sc. Michael Unterreiner

has a background in industrial engineering and biomimetics. Currently he is a doctoral student at the Chair of Materials Handling, Material Flow, Logistics within TUM and is responsible for the design, automation, and advancement of the near-nozzle continuous mixing system that was developed during the first project phase of A03.

M. Ed. Daniela Villarreal Bermúdez

was a research assistant and doctoral student at the Professorship for Learning Sciences and Educational Design Technologies. She holds a background in educational and social psychology from the Universidad Nacional de Colombia and TUM. Daniela contributes to research focused on understanding the role of cultural literacy and arts-based education in fostering social cohesion.

PhD Aileen Vandenberg

is a postdoctoral researcher specialized in rheology. She was working with the material design and development for the project within the Workgroup of Prof. Dr.-Ing. Dirk Lowke.
