Best Student Presentation Award at RILEM Digital Concrete 2026 in Nanjing

Congratulations to Jennifer Rudolph who received the award for the best student presentation. This award reflects an outstanding research achievement and is a well-deserved recognition for Jennifer and the co-authors Manuel Megnet, Robin Dörrie, Harald Kloft, Klaus Dröder and Dirk Lowke who contributed to the work.

The study investigates two innovative nozzle concepts for two-component Shotcrete 3D Printing (SC3DP) and examines their influence on material mixing and homogeneity. The findings highlight two distinct opportunities: active near-nozzle mixing for homogeneous material blending, and dual-nozzle configurations for controlled material distribution and multi-material printing.
