Bereich: Focus Area A
M. Sc. Carla Matthäus
She was an expert in additive manufacturing, rheological questions and material development. She organized the material development and material testing on behave of WG Gehlen. She also was an expert in AM by extrusion of concrete, rheological questions and material development. She was responsible for all research regarding extrusion, material development and testing.
M. Sc. Anais Martinson
Anaïs Martinsohn graduated from ESME (École Spéciale de Mécanique et d’Électricité) with a specialization in design. During her final year of study, she joined TRR 277 at TU Braunschweig as a guest researcher. Working at the Institute of Structural Design (ITE) and the Leichtweiß-Institute for Hydraulic Engineering and Water Resources (LWI), she contributed to the FLOWall project within the AMC research area A04, helping to establish the foundation for the project's further development. Her work focused on small-scale wave flume experiments investigating the influence of FLOWall’s characteristic horizontal undulation on wave overtopping in comparison with more conventional coastal protection structures, such as vertical and recurved walls. One of the main objectives of her research is the development of design parameters for 3D-printed double-recurved FLOWall structures, with the aim of enabling future coastal protection systems that combine hydraulic efficiency with architectural quality.
MC Bauchemie
MC Bauchemie supports the TRR 277 A04 project by supplying Material for the Shotcrete 3D Printing process. The special Material is used for most of the experiments to validate the SC3DP process and expand the knowledge on process parameters and the integration of reinforcement. In the future the option of developing a special SC3DP material together with MC Bauchemie will be explored.
M. Sc. Manuel Megnet
is a doctoral researcher at the Institute for Machine Tools and Production Technology (IWF) at TU Braunschweig. He is working on the development of different end effectors for an automated concrete reinforcement. Additionally he is developing different nozzle geometries for the SC3DP process. Moreover, he will frequently publish the results achieved within the community.
Dr.-Ing. Samim Mehdizadeh
Dr.-Ing. Samim Mehdizadeh co-leads research activities and supervises doctoral researchers in the areas of lightweight concrete, on-site robotic fabrication, and multi-robotic fabrication. Within the Collaborative Research Center TRR 277 "Additive Manufacturing in Construction" (AMC), he supports Prof. Norman Hack as Postdoctoral Researcher in leading the research project A-09 at the Institute for Structural Design (ITE) at TU Braunschweig.
M. Sc. Niklas Meier
is a research associate in the work group of Prof. Dr.-Ing. Arno Kwade. He is responsible for the development of tailored particles for the SCA process.
B. Sc. Annahita Meshkini
She supported as an AMC Researcher the Project A 04.
M. Sc. Marc Müggenburg
doctoral researcher at IS. He is responsible for the planning and execution of all scientific work, both numerical and experimental, in the framework of WAAM. This includes material and component testing, material modeling, analysis of all data, preparation of reports, presentations and publications.
