Prof. Dr.-Ing. Christoph Gehlen
Dean of TUM School of Engineering and Design, Head of cbm and leads project A02 and A03. He instructs and advises the academic staff regarding additive manufacturing and concrete technological questions. He is responsible for the coordination and quality control of all work of cbm. Untill Oct. 2021 he was the co-spokesperson of the TRR 277. He then became Dean of TUM School of Engineering and Design and handed over the tasks of Co-Speaker to Kathrin Dörfler.
Prof. Dr. rer. nat. Martin Geier
He substantially contributes to model development and implementation related aspects of WPs 1-2 and will contribute to the analysis of simulation results with special focus on WP 5.
Prof. Ph.D. Simos Gerasimidis AMC-MERCATOR-FELLOW
The collaboration between Prof. Gerasimidis and TRR 277 Additive Manufacturing in Construction (AMC), particularly with project A06, presents a great opportunity to achieve outstanding results. This partnership aims to push forward cutting-edge research that redefines how additively manufactured steel is used in large-scale construction. Topics such as architected steel lattices and novel structural designs are explored, with the potential to transform modern civil engineering practices through improved strength, durability, and design flexibility.
M.Sc. Selina Gerich
is a doctoral researcher at the Technical University of Munich in the group of Prof. Dr.-Ing. Dirk Lowke. Her research focuses on advancing the SCA process, particularly regarding material–process interactions.
Prof. Dr.-Ing. Markus Gerke
instructs the other doc. researcher in the fields of surveying, scanning and machine learning. A particular task will be the coordination of participants involved with this and other projects.
Prof. Dr. sc. ETH Elyas Ghafoori
Elyas Ghafoori is a professor of “Steel, Composite and Lightweight Construction” and director of Institute for Steel Construction and Test Centre Supporting Structures at Leibniz University Hannover. He and his group are active in the area of metal additive manufacturing, in particular on wire and arc additive manufacturing (WAAM). Current research topics include: structural integrity & fatigue of WAAM, WAAM for repair/strengthening, hybrid manufacturing, WAAM simulation and WAAM for bionic designs.
M. Sc. Aditya Lakshmi Ghantasala
was an AMC Researcher in the Project C 02.
Dr.-Ing. Ann-Kathrin Goldbach
Dr.-Ing. Ann-Kathrin Goldbach is a researcher and educator in structural engineering. She is Deputy Director at the Chair of Structural Analysis at TUM. Her research focuses on parametric design, CAD-integrated analysis, isogeometric B-Rep analysis and lightweight and membrane structures.
