M. Sc. Christiane Richter

Christiane Richter is a research associate and doctoral candidate at the Professorship of Structural Design at the TUM School of Engineering and Design. Under the guidance of Prof. Dr. Pierluigi D'Acunto, she is conducting research within the C02 project. With a solid foundation in structural engineering and expertise in concrete Additive Manufacturing, her primary focus lies in formulating a Holistic Design Framework (HDF). This framework integrates architectural, structural, and fabrication considerations to derive optimal design solutions for additively manufactured structures.

M. Sc. David Richter

David is a civil engineer with a passion for soft- and hardware development, digital manufacturing, and prototyping. He obtained his master’s degree in civil engineering from the Technical University of Munich (TUM), with a thesis focused on the investigation of printed carbon short fibre concrete under cyclic tensile stress. Prior to that, David studied philosophy and completed his bachelor’s degree in civil engineering at TUM. Throughout his professional journey, David has gained valuable experience in construction management and execution. In these firsthand experiences on the construction site, David got to know the challenges of finding qualified staff and driving the adoption of new digital technologies in the industry. His passion for innovation and experimentation is reflected in different automation/digitization projects, both in the construction sector and other industry branches.

M. Sc. Felix Riegger

is a research associate in the workgroup of Prof. Dr.-Ing. Michael F. Zäh. As an expert in WAAM, he is responsible for the simulation and temperature modelling of the process.

M. Ed. Bettina Saile

was a scientific researcher in A08, with experience in concrete extrusion as well as in selective binding of cement. She was responsible for the cross-project coordination and organization at the TUM AMC Lab and was supporting the different projects in their planning and execution of experiments.

M. Sc. Syed Ashfaq Hussain Shah

is a PhD. Researcher working under the supervision of Prof. Dr.-Ing. André Borrmann and Prof. Dr.-Ing. Frank Petzold. In this capacity, on one hand, he is responsible for the investigation of the design and implementation of Virtual Research Environment (VRE). And the definition of new features in VRE. On the other hand, he is responsible for the investigation of the Data management and publication platform. And the definition of data management policy and plans. Moreover, he is responsible for the coordination and collaboration and, conducting training sessions and workshops to facilitate the adoption of these platforms in the context of TRR 277.

M. Sc. Dorina Siebert

Doctoral researcher: carrying out scientific studies. She will play a decisive role in planning and conducting fatigue and fracture testing. The evaluation and interpretation of test results is also one of her tasks. Finally she undertakes statistical considerations, which are intended to serve as a basis for the development of design guidelines.”

M. A. Živa Simšič

is a doctoral researcher at Rudolf Mößbauer Tenure Track Assistant Professorship of Learning Sciences and Educational Design Technologies, TUM School of Social Sciences and Technology, and TUM Institute for Advanced Study (IAS). Živa’s background in arts education serves Project Ö’s constructionist and design-based research initiative to create the AMC Edu:Lab, a dynamic learning space designed for active engagement with AMC research and innovation. In her research, Živa aims to support education about and with AMC technologies at an early age, to integrate gender-equitable perspectives into additive manufacturing practices, and to raise awareness of the importance of sustainability in construction among youth.

M. Sc. Martin Slepicka

is developing a data structure and corresponding methods (WP 2) that enable a closed chain between digital design (e.g. BIM) and digital manufacturing (mainly Additive Manufacturing). For backwards communication of "as-built" information during and after a manufacturing process, digital twin methods are incorporated into the developed FIM system (WP 3).

M. Sc. Alexander Straßer

is a research associate at the Workinggroup of Prof. Dr.-Ing. Christoph Gehlen. Responsible for research on selective paste intrusion and development of cement pastes.

Dr. Silke Sturm

Silke Sturm works at the University Library of the Technical University of Munich. In her function as Data Steward she is responsible for the Data Management strategies and support. She works on defining discipline-specific standards, repositories and research data infrastructure. Moreover, she develops new coaching material for various topics concerning best practices in research data management.
