Focus Area Project: Project C 04
M. Sc. Luca Bettermann
is a doctoral researcher at the chair of Computing in Civil and Building Engineering at the Technical University of Munich. He conducts research on predictive modeling and real-time control of additively manufactured components (AM). His work aims to augment the fabrication process of AM with a layer of data-driven intelligence for more robustness and improved quality.
Project C 04
Prof. Dr.-Ing. André Borrmann
acts as co-lead in project C04. He is responsible for leading and guiding WP2 and WP 3 and parts of WP 4. He is also responsible for coordinating the collaboration with other projects. He leads the doctoral researcher in the design and implementation of the virtual common research environment. He is responsible for the coordination of the projects in the TRR 277 and the coordination with the Leibniz Supercomputing Centre (LRZ).
M. Sc. Fiona Collins
she is a former researcher in the Focus Area C of the Project C 04.Data-Driven Parameter Calibration in Additive Manufacturing for Construction

Dr.-Ing. Sebastian Esser
Dr.-Ing. Sebastian Esser is a postdoctoral researcher at the Chair of Computing in Civil and Building Engineering at the Technical University of Munich. His research centers on knowledge representations for the built environment, with a focus on predictive methods and real-time feedback systems for additively manufactured components. This includes improving data models, advancing the FIM system, and integrating digital twin approaches to capture as-built information during and after production.
