Dr.-Ing. Sebastian Esser is a postdoctoral researcher at the Chair of Computing in Civil and Building Engineering at the Technical University of Munich. His research centers on knowledge representations for the built environment, with a focus on predictive methods and real-time feedback systems for additively manufactured components. This includes improving data models, advancing the FIM system, and integrating digital twin approaches to capture as-built information during and after production.
